SUPPORT
Clear answers for
every stitch.
LongShot 1.1 supports iPhone on iOS 16.0 or later.
Email supportWill the first launch stitch automatically?
Not before setup. The first launch stays on Welcome until you tap “Get Started” and allow Full Photos Access. On later launches, take overlapping screenshots and open LongShot; it checks recent images, validates overlap, and generates directly into preview.
Why did manual selection appear?
Manual selection is a fallback only when LongShot cannot verify a reliable automatic candidate. The images may not overlap enough, may have different widths, or unrelated recent images may split the sequence. Use “Select Screenshots Manually” to choose the exact set.
Are images uploaded?
No. Image decoding, matching, stitching, and PNG rendering happen locally. LongShot has no cloud account, image server, or analytics SDK.
Do saving and cleanup require confirmation?
Yes. You inspect the preview and choose to save it. Cleanup is available only after saving, and iOS presents a system confirmation before source screenshots are deleted. Cancelling keeps both the result and the fragments.
What if a stitch looks wrong?
Keep the source screenshots and email the source app, device, iOS version, and symptom. We receive images only if you explicitly attach them.
